Nestled on a hilltop in Lombok, Cascada House is a contemporary tropical villa designed to frame expansive views of the ocean and surrounding rice fields. The architecture responds to the natural contours of the site, creating a seamless relationship between indoor living and the dramatic landscape beyond.

Defined by open spaces, natural materials, and carefully filtered daylight, the residence embraces a slower and more grounded way of living. Large openings and cross ventilation allow the tropical climate to shape the atmosphere of each space, while layered volumes provide privacy, shade, and a strong connection to nature.

Designed by Atelier Alejandro Borrego, Cascada House reflects a refined approach to modern tropical architecture in Indonesia — balancing contemporary design, sustainability, and the unique character of Lombok’s coastal environment.
