The tropical character of the project is expressed through the use of local, natural materials: warm wooden ceilings and screens, naturally tinted cement walls, and locally sourced sand and limestone. Together, these elements create a harmonious environment that celebrates the unique character of Guatemala’s landscape while honoring its local resources.
